The G24 Mount has become the industry standard for night vision device mounts around the world. Its interface is highly versatile, and the majority of first-generation night vision devices can be mounted on helmets using the G24 mount. Even older models like the AN/PVS-14 can be connected to the G24 mount using a J-arm adapter. This mount is widely adopted by military units and other organizations worldwide. The "Breakaway" feature is designed to automatically separate under certain pressure in situations where the user gets stuck on a support frame during activities such as skydiving. This feature effectively protects the user's neck from injury and can also detach automatically to save lives in cases where the parachute fails to deploy.

The FMA L4G24 NVG Breakaway Mount is made of CNC aluminum alloy using a hard anodized process, fully achieving the "Breakaway detachable" function. In the detachable mode, under certain pressure, it will automatically detach from the night vision device base to protect the user's neck or protect the user's life during parachute landing.
